A Peep Into My Life or A Play on Words?

Though I've noticed many a smirk when I use it, "peeps" is a great word! (I think the generation of keyboard relationships finds it odd to hear their lingo used outside it's realm.) They might be surprised to learn that peeps is now a real word, since language is an ever-evolving tool.  This new expression surpasses its "parent" words: people, family, friends, relationships - it envelopes them all in one endearing, inclusive, fun and personal expression.
Peeping Tom is Bob-cat's pet.

Sometimes the unexpected is marvelous!
On mother's day, my peeps gave me a camera, making it more possible for me to share some of my adventures.

Case in point: capturing this drawing that Isabel and I made by outlining her body. She was fascinated, and my little granny heart lub-lubbed  with joy.

Almost every Tuesday, I host what has been dubbed, Camp Mimi.  My four Grand-peeps fill our home with the kind of love, noises, messes, and commotions that make it my favorite day of the week.

Somehow, the prospect of sharing little snippets of my life with my peeps, makes those moments even more special.

I get to be with them as they laugh and cry, argue and make-up, study, create things, sing and play instruments, cook, pray, and eat, and eat, and eat; play in the sprinklers, play at the park; rest, read, learn to cook and do chores; play solitaire and chess, play with the animals and the hens that call Camp Mimi home (including Peeping Tom).

Oh how I love them!  Oh how I love what they bring to my life.

Being a Grand-peep armed with experience and a camera has afforded me a second look at being a mom without the awesome responsibility that their parents have. I am the "wing man,"  as El put it the other day.  (PERFECT lingo for my tribute to the word peeps, don't you think?)

"Jeepers, creepers, where'd you get those peepers?"

So goes the song.  Well those peepers go a long way back.  They are the peepers of the past and the future.
The new camera (peep-keeper) has given me new eyes to enjoy and share a blessed life.

Two lovely grand-peeps on their way to new heights.
Thanks to all my peeps, young and old --  you make life....well, you make life soar to new heights.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Love never fails
